NEW BOOK · LAUNCHING DECEMBER 8
Ordinary Stone
A Love Letter to the Life You Are Already Living
What if the life you are living is not something to fix, improve, or become more worthy of, but something to pause long enough to truly see?
Ordinary Stone is an invitation to rediscover the extraordinary within the ordinary moments of being alive. Written as a love letter to the reader, it explores identity, love, loss, uncertainty, transitions, and the passage of time with warmth, honesty, and quiet wisdom.
Through eight movements, the book invites us to loosen our grip on who we think we should be, make room for who we are, and recognize the richness that has been here all along.
This is not a book about reinventing yourself or finding all the answers. It is an invitation to stop striving for a moment, sit beside your own life, and discover that perhaps nothing essential was ever missing.
Because life itself deserves a love letter. And so do you.
ABOUT LIZ
Something extraordinary, hidden in the ordinary.
Elizabeth (Liz) Rosado-McGrath has long believed that there is something extraordinary hidden within the ordinary moments of our lives.
An author, educator, and lifelong observer of the human experience, she has spent much of her life exploring the beauty and complexity of becoming, belonging, loving, losing, and beginning again.
A native Minnesotan, Elizabeth carries with her a deep affection for the shores of Lake Superior, where even the most ordinary stone holds a story shaped by time, movement, and the quiet persistence of life.
Her debut book, Ordinary Stone: A Love Letter to the Life You Are Already Living, grew from a simple but enduring belief: that our lives do not need to be extraordinary to be worthy of wonder, and that perhaps we are not here to become someone else, but to more fully inhabit the lives that are already ours.
Elizabeth lives in Texas with her husband, Paul, and continues to find beauty in the ordinary, meaning in the unexpected, and reasons to fall in love with life just as it is.
